Architectural design and historical structures have always been a source of fascination to me. Maybe that helped channel my interest in Maine real estate? In fact, we have made videos about interesting architecture in Portland and another about great structures around the world.
But what about fictional buildings? Have you ever wondered how buildings on earth compare with those created in books and films?
If so, I have just the chart for you. Included in this video are some of the tallest. Perhaps you recognize some of them. Towering above them all is the International Space Elevator, constructed in the year 2060 and stretching upwards from the earth a staggering 6,000 kilometers. If you’re a fan of Blade Runner, Tyrell Corporation in Los Angeles is only 2,491 meters in height. As you can see there are many others.
