When it comes to marketing homes, exceptional photos are critical, especially when so many potential buyers are shopping online.  When faced with so many choices buyers often make quick decisions about which homes they will consider in more detail.  Those properties that are not presented in the best light – with the best photography – are at a severe disadvantage.

Video Sets a New Standard

The new battle ground for attracting more online exposure is video – and we’re not talking about simply presenting photos with pans and zooms – but real video that includes narration and focuses on the best aspects of a home and its neighborhood.

The goal is to capture the imagination of an online buyer and entice him or her enough so that they are interested enough to request additional information and thus begin a dialogue.  The expectations of buyers in today’s market are high and given the technology available there is really no excuse for the the run-of-the-mill video.

Above is an example of a recent video we have produced.  Our website includes many more and at our YouTube channel you will also find many video that are specific to Portland, the Portland real estate market and southern Maine.  We hope to continue to increase our library on a regular basis.
