For those looking to make a difference in their environmental impact, but aren’t sure how – this weekend is the Green & Healthy Maine Home + Energy Show. Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10AM to 5PM at the East End Community School in Portland there will be numerous exhibitors at this one day event, designed to connect a myriad of environmental designers, builders, and other professionals to Maine homeowners.

Whether you’re looking to build, buy, or enhance a property, there will be experts waiting to discuss options for you. There will also be workshops throughout the day; from tips to improve home air quality, to receiving Efficiency Maine rebates. Meanwhile, at the door ticket price of just $8 goes to benefiting Habitat for Humanity.

We’ll be at the show discussing the benefits of Unity home’s and the climate conscious Douglas Ridge development – we even have a trade show special giving away solar panels so we hope to see you there!
